A Christmas train lit up the night in England recently, creating a dazzlingly colorful scene that looked like something straight out of ‘The Polar Express.’
Scott Williams, a local photographer, captured footage of the steam train covered in festive lights as it chugged its way through Paignton, a seaside town in southern England.
The annual holiday attraction, known as the Christmas Train of Lights, was on a trial run ahead of the official opening, Williams wrote on Facebook.
According to the train’s operator, Dartmouth Steam Railway & River Boat Company, the Christmas-themed train runs from November 29 to December 30 and takes visitors on an 80-minute round trip from Paignton to Kingswear further down the coast.

The railway promises “surprises” and noted the lights are both inside and outside the train.
Williams said the train provides a “magical sight for anyone who sees it.”
