FORT WORTH, Texas – Fort Worth police are investigating an attempted robbery and shooting that left at least one person dead on the city’s north side.
What We Know: The shooting happened around 3 p.m. on Tuesday on Berrenda Drive near West Fork Ranch Park, which is west of Interstate 35 near the border with Saginaw.
Police confirmed one person was killed. Two others were taken to the hospital in an unknown condition.
Detectives are reportedly working the case as an attempted robbery where both the victim and the suspects were shot during the course of the robbery.
Police said they are still in the process of interviewing everyone involved, so no arrests have been made yet.
What We Don’t Know: Police have not said if the person who was killed was a suspect or a victim.
That person’s name and age have not yet been released.
