DALLAS – On Friday, authorities in Dallas reported a tragic shooting incident that resulted in a fatality in the South Dallas area.

As part of their investigation, Dallas Police were dispatched to the 200 block of Stoneport Drive after receiving reports of gunfire. Upon arriving at the scene, they located 24-year-old Tyrle Brown, who had sustained serious injuries from gunfire.

Fatality and Arrest

Emergency responders from Dallas Fire-Rescue pronounced Brown dead on the scene. Following the incident, police took 34-year-old Robert Lockridge into custody. Lockridge has since been charged with murder and is currently held at the Dallas County Jail, with bail set at $1,000,000.
