DALLAS – Late Tuesday night, a rollover accident in Dallas has prompted a police investigation as authorities search for the responsible driver.

The incident occurred around 1:15 a.m. at the intersection of North Field Street and Woodall Rodgers Freeway. According to initial reports from the Dallas Police, a Lexus was traveling southbound when an eastbound SUV disregarded a traffic signal and collided with it.

This collision caused the SUV to overturn. Upon arrival, officers found the SUV lying on its side, but the driver had already fled the scene.

Fortunately, the driver of the Lexus was unharmed in the accident.
