Experience the Men’s Final Four: Free Events in San Antonio
Mark your calendar for April 4-7, as San Antonio comes alive with the exhilarating NCAA Men’s Final Four festivities. While official game tickets can reach up to $600, the city offers a variety of engaging and free events open to all.
March Madness Music Festival
One of the highlights will be the March Madness Music Festival, held at the Tower Park of Hemisfair, located at 801 E Cesar Chavez Blvd. The festival is slated for April 4-6 and features a star-studded lineup, including internationally renowned artists and promising newcomers.
This three-day event is free to attend, operating on a first-come, first-served basis, so arrive early—gates open at 7 a.m. each day with no registration required, and there are no age restrictions.

Men’s Final Four Fan Fest
At the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, located at 900 E Market St, fans can participate in the Men’s Final Four Fan Fest from April 4-7. While general admission is available for $10, attendees with a Capital One card can enter for free an hour earlier. Ticket stubs from specific local teams also qualify for complimentary entry.
The Fan Fest includes various activities such as basketball drills, historical displays, and even complimentary haircuts.

Tailgate Parties and Watch Events

Final Four Team Practices
Catch a glimpse of the Final Four teams as they practice at the Alamodome, located at 100 Montana St. Free entry will start at 10 a.m. on April 4, with practice schedules as follows:

The day will culminate in the National Association of Basketball Coaches All-Star Game at 3:35 p.m.

River Parade Celebrations
A not-to-miss event is the Men’s Final Four River Rally on April 5, from 11 a.m. to noon at the Rivercenter Lagoon. Teams’ bands and cheerleading squads will participate in a festive parade. After the championship match on April 7, a victory parade will celebrate the winning team at the Arneson River Theater.
