Fort Worth Tragic Crash Claims Three Lives
FORT WORTH, Texas – A devastating multi-vehicle accident early Saturday morning resulted in three fatalities. Local authorities are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident, but no arrests have been made at this time.

Shortly after 4 AM on Saturday, Fort Worth police responded to reports of a serious crash on Risinger Road. The collision involved multiple vehicles, leaving a scene marked by tragedy and confusion.
Among the victims identified are 19-year-old Kianna White and her friend, 19-year-old Taunya Freeman. Their families are mourning their losses as they come to terms with the shocking news.
A Sister’s Fight for Survival
The sole survivor of the crash, 18-year-old Kiara White, is currently receiving treatment in the ICU at John Peter Smith Hospital. As she battles multiple broken bones and internal bleeding, her family remains hopeful for her recovery.
“She was doing very good yesterday until last night, and they had to do emergency surgery on her. They found more issues with her,” said Delila Mathis, Kiara’s mother, who is grappling with the pain of losing one daughter and facing the uncertainty of her other daughter’s condition.
Lamenting Lost Lives
Delila Mathis expressed the profound sorrow of her family as they seek answers. “I need answers. And I want them. We deserve that much,” she stated, underscoring the family’s need for clarity regarding the tragic event.
While the investigation continues, the medical examiner’s office confirmed the identities of the deceased, with Kianna White and Taunya Freeman as confirmed victims, while the identity of a third fatality has not yet been released.
Investigation Ongoing
As of now, Fort Worth Police are dedicated to uncovering the cause of the pile-up. Officers have gathered information from the scene, and despite the rainy conditions that may have contributed to the crash, the investigation is still in its early stages.
Authorities confirmed that, in addition to the three fatalities, at least five individuals sustained injuries and were treated at local hospitals from various injuries related to the incident.
