Fort Worth Shooting Incident Injures Two Teenagers
FORT WORTH, Texas – Early Thursday morning, two teenagers were shot while fleeing from a vehicle associated with a shooting suspect.
Details of the Incident
Fort Worth police responded to an emergency call reporting gunfire in the 2700 block of Avenue J shortly before 2 a.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered two teenagers who had sustained gunshot wounds.
The victims recounted that as they were casually walking down the street, a car drove up to them. They were asked to approach the vehicle, and upon doing so, a suspect inside displayed a firearm. Shots were fired as the teens attempted to escape the scene.

Both victims were promptly transported to a local hospital. Fortunately, their injuries are deemed non-life-threatening.
