Fort Worth, TX – One of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s three daughters has made her TV debut in the new series Landman.
Audrey McGraw, 23, appeared in episodes 5 and 7 of the first season of the Yellowstone spinoff.
Landman, written by Yellowstone co-creator Taylor Sheridan, follows the lives of billionaires in the West Texas oil business as oil rigs begin to boom.
In the series, Audrey plays Shelby, a character who lives next door to Tommy Norris, portrayed by Billy Bob Thornton. Norris has ties to Audrey’s parents, adding an interesting connection between the show and her family.
Ryan Fox from 99.5 The Wolf told FOX 4 that Audrey has been eager to follow in her parents’ footsteps and pursue acting.
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill previously starred alongside Thornton in Sheridan’s 1883, a Yellowstone prequel filmed in Fort Worth. Entertainment analysts have spoke about the connection between Thornton’s role in 1883 and Audrey’s role as his character’s neighbor in Landman.
Ryan Fox said for Audrey, starring in another Sheridan project feels like a full-circle moment.
Much like 1883, which filmed its first two episodes in Fort Worth’s Stockyards, parts of Landman were also shot in Fort Worth. The house featured as Shelby’s home is located there, even though the series is set in Midland.
