Young Father Killed In North Dallas Crash, Suspects Still On

Newly obtained surveillance video shows the violent hit-and-run crash that killed a young father near University Park late Saturday night.

What We Know: Alfredo Quintero, 24, was killed while he was working as a food delivery driver.

A gray Infiniti slammed into Quintero’s car on Northwest Highway, near Turtle Creek Boulevard, shortly before midnight.

Surveillance video from a nearby business provided by SentriForce appears to show the suspects’ vehicle speeding as it T-boned Quintero’s car.

Witnesses saw three males running away from the crash scene, leaving a Gray Infitini behind. One of the suspects had a severe leg injury.

No arrests have been made at this time.

What We Don’t Know: Dallas Police have not said if the gray Infiniti used by the suspects belonged to one of them, or someone else.

The vehicle had a temporary tag.

How You Can Help: Anyone with information is asked to contact the Dallas Police Department.

Quintero’s family describes the 24-year-old as hard-working and responsible, working two jobs trying to provide for his 1-year-old daughter.

His daughter was not with him at the time of the crash, but her belongings were scattered around the area of the crash.

Sheyla Gonzaga, Quintero’s aunt, says she is angry while her family continues to search for answers.

What They’re Saying: “They just left him. They didn’t care. They were selfish. They only cared about themselves,” said Gonzaga. “Thinking of his daughter not having him around longer, you know, it’s tragic.”
