Wednesday’s Weather Outlook
As the storm system exits, winds are expected to calm later in the day. Temperatures are likely to reach the low 60s by afternoon, with the morning chill giving way to sunshine which will enhance the warmth. Nighttime will see increasing high clouds, with temperatures dropping to the 30s and 40s.
Thursday Forecast
Looking ahead, Thursday marks the beginning of a brief warm spell with temperatures rising to around 80 degrees. However, a westerly wind will soon follow, ushering in cooler air.
Weekend Weather Expectations
The warm weather will come to an end by Friday evening as a cold front approaches, bringing with it showers and thunderstorms. Rain is expected to persist into Saturday morning, resulting in dropping temperatures through the afternoon, particularly in northern regions where they may plunge into the 40s.

A dust storm originating from West Texas affected the Dallas-Fort Worth area on Tuesday. Around 2 p.m., strong winds carried the dust into the region, causing a temporary decline in air quality before it dispersed.
Recovery from Tornado Damage in Irving
In Irving, crews are currently addressing damage from an EF-1 tornado that occurred early Tuesday, causing destruction to buildings and power lines. The National Weather Service reported that the tornado featured winds reaching up to 110 mph, covering a path of 0.42 miles with a width of 85 yards.
Approximately 350 individuals were evacuated from an apartment complex near West Pioneer Drive and North O’Connor Road. Several schools in the Irving Independent School District remain closed due to safety hazards from downed power lines and gas leaks, with DeZavala Middle School closed as crews work on repairs.
