LEWISVILLE, Texas – Authorities have discovered the body of a missing kayaker at Lake Lewisville, following a weekend search effort.

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department reported that a call was made around 9 p.m. on Saturday night regarding a kayaking-related water fatality.
Search and rescue teams quickly mobilized, recovering the body of the 29-year-old man from Little Elm approximately two hours later, just south of the Lewisville Toll Bridge.
