Angela Nino-Herrera was spending time with friends in West Dallas when a fight broke out, resulting in gunfire. Tragically, she was struck by a stray bullet during this incident.

The Dallas Police Department received reports of the incident at approximately 4 AM on Sunday, responding to a parking lot situated near Commerce Street and Beckley.

Rena Garcia, a 19-year-old who was present during the shooting, spoke to Fox 4 about the chaos she witnessed. She described seeing a fight unfold just before gunfire erupted.

“They started shooting. They drove down the street and just kept shooting out of the door, out of the window of the car. It was multiple guns. Multiple people just shooting. Just anyone and everything they could see. It was terrible,” Garcia recounted.
