Dallas Weather Forecast: April 6 Overview

DALLAS – As we approach early morning on April 6, residents are advised to prepare for a significant drop in temperatures overnight. It’s time to protect your plants as conditions will become rather chilly.

Morning Chill and Weather Conditions

Expect temperatures to plunge into the 30s by Monday morning, with cold air lingering throughout the early hours. A freeze warning has been issued for areas west of the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) region, indicating risks of nearby freezing temperatures.

Much of the Metroplex will also be under Frost Advisories, which indicate that surface temperatures might drop to levels allowing frost to form, even with official readings in the mid-30s.

The lowest temperatures are anticipated between 4 a.m. and 8 a.m., marking the peak of the morning chill.

Despite the frigid start, Monday is set to transition into a brighter day, characterized by clear skies. By the afternoon, temperatures will increase to the upper 60s, providing a pleasant end to the chilly morning.
