Train and Truck Collision in Saginaw, Texas—Cleanup in Progress

SAGINAW, Texas – Crews are currently engaged in cleanup operations following a train collision with an 18-wheeler trailer in the Fort Worth suburb of Saginaw.

Incident Overview

The accident occurred early Monday morning at the intersection of N. Saginaw Boulevard and Hicks Field Road. According to the Fort Worth police, the train impacted the trailer of the 18-wheeler.

Injuries and Cleanup Efforts

Fortunately, both the train conductor and the truck driver escaped without injuries. Images captured by SKY 4 show crews diligently working to clear the site, where pallets of aluminum cans were scattered across the tracks.

Details Still Under Investigation

As the situation unfolds, authorities have yet to determine the cause of the collision. It remains unclear whether the truck attempted to cross the tracks before the train arrived or if it became trapped on the tracks.

The duration of the cleanup has not been specified, and officials are continuing to assess the situation.
